Week 41 - Focus on Kenya
October 5th to October 11th
Monday (5th) - Kenya
We give thanks to God for Print-On-Demand as it celebrates 10 years of ministry, impact, and God’s faithfulness in Eastern Africa. We are grateful for every author served, every book printed, and every testimony that has emerged through this journey.
Tuesday (6th) - Kenya
We thank God for all the writers who enrolled in this year's cohorts of the Kenyan Writers’ Class and in the repeat classes in South Africa, Eswatini, and our newest addition, Botswana. We pray for more committed participants and fruitful learning experiences in these countries.
Wednesday (7th) - Kenya
We are grateful for the relaunch of the Purposeful Teens Programme, led by Abiah Omukhango under the Mama Africa Book Box programme. Please pray that this programme will continually help teenagers discover purpose, grow in godly confidence, and become responsible young leaders who positively influence their generation.
Thursday (8th) - Kenya
We thank God for the continued growth of the YouVersion* ministry outreach. We pray for even greater impact, wider open doors, and transformed lives as God’s Word reaches more people across nations through this ministry. (* YouVersion is a free, global digital Bible platform).
Friday (9th) - Kenya
Please pray for CLC Kenya's ambitious project to build a centre outside of Nairobi for the purpose of long-term future ministry, including a vision for workshops and retreats for authors. Construction of the foundation has begun, but much more funding is needed.
The Weekend (10th - 11th) - Kenya
Pray for preparations taking place for the ACABA* BookFest and Gala Awards for 2026, an annual CLC Kenya event that is scheduled in Nairobi on December 5th. The event will feature writers' graduations, exhibitions, and the awarding of top Christian titles across 10 categories. * African Christian Authors' Book Awards .
