THE IMPORTANCE OF A PUBLISHING MINISTRY
Through the publishing ministry, our teams around the globe can help shape and influence the reading culture in their respective countries. To this day, the Lord continues to use the printed page as a tool for evangelism, hope, equipping, and transformation.
CLC is actively publishing in over 20 languages, including Korean, English, French, Spanish, Tamil and Burmese. Over 3,200 titles are in print in 21 countries. We have been honoured to publish many trusted Christian authors, such as Billy Graham, Josh McDowell, John Stott, Jerry Bridges, Francis Chan, David Platt and Corrie Ten Boom, in various languages. Many of our countries have partnered to publish several children’s Bibles in multiple languages to share the message of the Scriptures with the new generation.
CLC also spearheaded ambitious projects to print the Bible for needy countries: Venezuela, Bolivia, Spain, Belarus, Russia, Mozambique and Thailand. We also had the joy of printing the first Study Bible in the Burmese language in Myanmar. The role of publishing has become an increasingly important part of CLC’s Christian literature ministry across the globe today.
