Monday (15th) - Chile
Edgardo Roldan, National Director for CLC Chile, is requesting prayer for the various visits made by his team each year to different congregations during the month of September, which is the Month of the Bible. Edgardo writes: “May the Lord be glorified and surprise us with the distribution of His Word”.
Tuesday (16th) - Venezuela
We have customers who purchase Bibles from us and then take them to places where there are no bookstores. One very special case is that of a customer who sells Bibles in a state called Delta Amacuro, one of the poorest states in our country. We are thankful that we are able to obtain Bibles at a high discount from publishers, which then gives opportunities to others to have the Word of God.
Wednesday (17th) - Ecuador
On September 17th, our team from Guayaquil will participate in the Guayaquil International Book Fair, where we will be the only Christian bookstore present. We are very happy that many people have approached us to tell us what a great blessing it is to have a Christian bookstand there, especially considering the strong influence of non-Christian and other religious movements. We appreciate your prayers for us in this.
Thursday (18th) - Colombia
From September 18th - 20th, we will participate in the Annual Meeting of National Booksellers. This is a spiritual retreat with the participation of approximately 40 towns in Colombia, together with publishers and authors. It is also an opportunity for training and learning about new releases, combined with devotionals and times of prayer. Thank you for your prayers for this event!
Friday (19th) - Ecuador
A member of an indigenous community received the Gospel in a prison in Chile and then during his time there, studied at a Bible Institute, developing a love for the Word of God and books. He says that every visit to CLC is special for him, describing it as an oasis with excellent books that have helped him mature in his faith and guide other believers. Please pray for him and for us, that the Lord continues to use us as instruments to spread His word.
The Weekend (20th - 21st) - Uruguay
CLC Uruguay writes: “Please join us in giving thanks for each of our team members and their families who support them in this work. Many times, the Lord’s provision surpasses our understanding, enabling us to see that He is in control of every situation. Please pray for this same provision and blessing for each of our customers and that we may serve them well, as in our service for Him”.
