Monday (14th) - Mozambique
Please pray for Carlos Cunha (National Director for CLC Portugal) as he visits the team in Mozambique this week. Pray especially for Carlos and Francisco Macheque, CLC Maputo bookshop managers, as they travel to Beira and Nampula to spend time with team members there.
Tuesday (15th) - Mozambique
Continue to pray for Carlos and Francisco (see yesterday's prayer point) as they have important conversations about the ongoing partnership between CLC Portugal and Mozambique, and other relevant issues, such as the future accounting system for our bookshops in Maputo, Beira, and Nampula.
Wednesday (16th) - Mozambique
Please pray for this year's annual Fiel Conference, which takes place from September 22nd-25th in Nampula, especially CLC worker Sangara Mohalana as he participates in this important gathering. Pray for spiritual blessing for him and for fruitful networking for CLC.
Thursday (17th) - Sierra Leone
This has been a very tough year for CLC Sierra Leone. Sales have declined, so we have had to reduce staff, and our premises at Circular Road have had repeated thefts and acts of vandalism. Please pray for a turnaround.
Friday (18th) - Sierra Leone
In addition to the problems described yesterday, in July, we had to close our second bookshop in Freetown due to unsustainable rent increases. Salamatu Bangura, the manageress, kindly transferred to our Circular Road branch. Please pray for team consolidation as we move forward.
The Weekend (19th - 20th) - Sierra Leone
Following on from the past two days, but on a happier note, this year we are celebrating 60 years of CLC ministry in Sierra Leone. Please pray for wisdom as we plan anniversary celebrations for November and for successful fundraising.
