Monday (6th) - Thanksgiving Day
Today, we celebrate Chuseok, also known as Korean Thanksgiving Day, one of the nation’s major holidays. Due to additional national holidays, our office will be closed from October 3rd - 9th. Please pray that this holiday season will be a time of gratitude, rest and renewal for everyone.
Tuesday (7th) - New Publication
We are expecting the delivery of 2,000 copies of Your Lamp for My Feet to our warehouse this month. Please pray for this to go smoothly, without delays or damages. As the book includes accessories, it is legally required to undergo safety testing by KATRI (Korea Apparel Testing & Research Institute). We trust that by the time you read this, the book will have been approved. Please pray it will be a blessing for many families.
Wednesday (8th) - Staffing
We continue to seek new team members who are skilled, have a mission-minded heart and a cooperative spirit. Please pray that God will lead the right people to join us and serve with unity and dedication, not only in Korea but also in other CLC teams around the world where new staff are needed.
Thursday (9th) - Warehouse Operations
CLC Korea is blessed with two warehouses but the work can be physically demanding, so please pray that the Lord will strengthen our warehouse staff with renewed energy after the holiday break and protect them from any injuries during their daily activities. Pray that all logistics, dispatch and delivery processes will be well-organised and efficient.
Friday (10th) - National DIrector
Please pray for our National Director, Dr. Young Ho Park, and his family. Dr Park was one of the founding members of CLC Korea, which this year celebrates
50 years of ministry, now comprising a theological seminary, publishing, web sales and wholesale. Praise God for His faithfulness to us!
The Weekend (11th - 12th) - Advent & Christmas Season
All books related to the Advent and Christmas season are scheduled to be ready for printing and launched next month. Please pray that we will complete everything on time with ample opportunity for final checks and no errors in the process.
