Prayer Focus: October 27th - November 2nd 2025

Week 44 - Worldwide

October 27th to November 2nd

Monday (27th) - Philippines
At the time of writing, the CLC Malolos branch needs to be relocated, since our sales have been adversely affected by the closure of the main building where CLC is situated. Please pray that we can find a new place which will be a blessing to our customers, even more than at the old location!

Tuesday (28th) - Burkina Faso
Due to the very high temperatures in the bookshop in Ouagadougou, especially with the many power failures, one of our customers recommended the installation of solar panels. A few days later, he sent a technician to CLC to install the panels and promised to pay the bill to alleviate the suffering of Luc and his customers. Note: Burkina Faso is located in a desert region and is possibly the hottest country in the world.

Wednesday (29th) - Hungary
Our bookshop in Budapest needs some renovations, especially on the outside. Though we are planning it for next year, we are already looking at the possibilities. Please pray for good timing for the work to be carried out and for the necessary funding, etc.

Thursday (30th) - Hungary
We are thankful to have had the opportunity to participate in two events with book tables earlier this year, with attendance by the younger generation. We appreciated so much the possibility to connect with and encourage younger people in their walk with Jesus Christ. Please pray for more of these opportunities to open up for us.

Friday (31st) - Hungary
CLC workers Zsolt and Anna Maria write: “We are thankful for the addition of Eszter, our daughter, as a part-timer in CLC Budapest. She is now responsible for our social media - and her creativity can be seen on our Facebook and Instagram pages. We ask for prayer as she is also learning to help out in the shop’s daily routines. Thank you!”

The Weekend (November 1st - 2nd) - New opportunities
As we head into the month before Christmas, most of our bookshops and warehouses will experience their busiest season of the year! Pray that our staff will be fit and healthy and have stamina for the additional work that the next weeks will require. Pray too that, where necessary, they may be able to find additional temporary help to see them through. Pray that they will have adequate stock levels to meet demands.
