Monday (26th) - History
Praise God for retired CLC-er, Lewis Codington, who wrote a manuscript entitled “The Faithfulness of God” to update the CLC International history for the 80th anniversary in 2021. However, for various reasons, it was not published but further content has been added.
Tuesday (27th) - History
Pray for the International Office as they seek to go ahead with plans to publish “The Faithfulness of God” (see yesterday's topic) in English and Spanish. Pray for excellent editing and an attractive cover design. Praise God for funds already available for this publication.
Wednesday (28th) - CLC Founders
A children's book has been suggested about the life of Ken and Bessie Adams, who founded CLC in 1941 during WW2. Their story has already been an inspiration to generations, and such a publication could also support broader visibility for the CLC ministry. Please pray for this.
Thursday (29th) - European Director
Pray for Hervé Lessous as he continues serving as CLC's European Director until next spring, alongside his new role as International Director. Pray for the preparations to elect a new European Director who will be able to oversee the 14 countries involved in this region.
Friday (30th) - Publishing Rights
Pray for Gary Chamberlin as he works with the Evangelical Christian Publishers' Association on plans for CLC's involvement in both the European and Asian rights fairs for next year.
The Weekend (31st - 1st) - Regional Directors
Pray for the Regional Directors as they plan next year's travels and prepare their budgets for approval by the International Director and the trustees. Pray for wisdom in all of this and that they will be able to connect meaningfully with all the countries in their regions.
