Monday (12th) - Central Asia 2
Praise God that last year, we broke even due to rental income and increased sales, and we ask prayer for a repeat of this in 2026. Also, rejoice that we are now providing Bibles to be sold in a secular retail chain.
Tuesday (13th) - Italy
We ask for prayer for our coworkers in Italy, who from October onwards will face the busiest period of the year. Please pray for good sales of the daily Christian calendars, an effective evangelistic tool that churches use to bring the Scriptures into Italian homes.
Wednesday (14th) - UK
In this digital age, we are aware that having a face-to-face experience is still important. At the time of writing, we are investigating the possibility of taking over the Edinburgh branch of the Faith Mission Bookshop and Coffee Shop. Pray for the future!.
Thursday (15th) - UK
Pray for the effects of the "Quiet Revival" to be felt more evenly across the UK as many ask questions about the meaning of life, especially among the working classes and the younger generation. Pray that CLC will be able to serve these demographics with appropriate and helpful resources.
Friday (16th) - France
Please pray for the organisation and smooth running of the Des Livres & Vous (Books and You) book fair, taking place in Paris at the end of October and which will bring together many authors for discussions and book signings.
The Weekend (17th - 18th) - France
According to Operation World, less than 10% of the French population own a Bible and 80% have never handled one. Yet, Bible sales are at an all-time high, spurred by the spiritual hunger evident among many and the availability of inexpensive Bibles in various outlets. Pray for France!.
