Prayer Focus: June 16th - June 22nd 2025

Week 25 - Asia

June 16th to 22nd

Monday (16th) - India
Please pray for newly elected General Secretary Jose Kombi Kunnath, as he works closely alongside the current General Secretary for 12 months before taking up his new responsibilities. Pray for Justin Chellappan who will have occupied this post for the past eight years, that he will be able to pass the baton and know God’s plans for his retirement next year.

Tuesday (17th) - Pakistan
Please pray for the bookshop in Karachi and for our team there, that the Lord will continue to watch over them. Pray for their health and stamina, and that there will be lasting spiritual fruit from the ministry.

Wednesday (18th) - Philippines
Please pray for the newly elected National Director for CLC Philippines, Deedah Macinas. May she know the Lord’s help and guidance in her new responsibilities. Pray for excellent relationships with all the members of the team, in the various departments of retail, wholesale and publishing.

Thursday (19th) - South Korea
We are thankful to God for enabling us to serve the theological seminaries in South Korea through our publications ministry. Please pray that we may be on time with all our publishing manuscripts and that we may continue to maintain commercial quality standards, to the glory of God.

Friday (20th) - Thailand
For many years, CLC Thailand has been registered under a Christian umbrella organisation, for which we are grateful. Lately, the CLC Foundation has received government approval and steps are being taken to finalise this. This will bring more stability to the ministry and we are thankful for this long-desired development.

The Weekend (21st - 22nd) - Thailand
We are very thankful to the Lord for the new children’s Bibles which we have received in collaboration with Copenhagen Publishing in Denmark, as part of the CLC Children’s Bible Project. Please pray with us that these Bibles will be a huge blessing in thousands of families, inspiring a love for God in the lives of children and adults too!
