Monday (7th) - Administration Role
Please pray for Petra Nemansky who, since the beginning of the year, has been working two days each week in the role of Administrative Officer for the International Office. Pray that Petra will be blessed in carrying out her responsibilities, which include oversight of legal documentation and issues relating to Charity Commission compliance as well as correspondence and maintaining diverse historical records.
Tuesday (8th) - Accounts Department
Please pray for Phil Burnham who is working as the accountant for the International Office. While this is officially a post for one day per week, we are very grateful for Phil’s flexibility in attending to matters when necessary. Phil and his wife Jan worked in CLC for several decades prior to retirement, including a number of years in Spain. Jan was also a manager of the bookshop in Sheffield.
Wednesday (9th) - Trustees
Today, the trustees of the International Office will be meeting together via Zoom. Please pray especially for John Raby, the Chair, and for his fellow trustees, that they will have wisdom, understanding and unity as they meet to pray, discuss and make decisions concerning International Office charity matters.
Thursday (10th) - Travels
Please pray for European Regional Director, Hervé Lessous, as he visits CLC Canada from July 10th - 12th. Hervé will have the opportunity to meet our team as he plans to visit our three bookshops and the warehouse. Hervé is also the Commercial Director for CLC France, and the relationship between the two countries is growing. Please pray for a worthwhile visit with the blessing of long-term results.
Friday (11th) - Digital Department
Please pray for Ivano, Cristi, Travis, Yohel and the other members of the growing Digital Department, that each one may do their part in serving the CLC ministry worldwide with functional retail websites. They enable us to fulfil our mission statement more widely in supplying Christian resources to those who are seeking to obtain them.
The Weekend (12th - 13th) - Finance
Financial support for the staff and regular activities of the International Office (IO) are largely provided through a voluntary contribution of a small percentage of each country’s global sales. The IO is thankful for all the CLC countries who have faithfully contributed over the years, thereby enabling vital IO support work to take place. As costs inevitably increase, please pray that the IO continues to receive adequate funds for this to continue.
