Monday (28th) - Pakistan
Please pray that we will have sufficient funding to be able to purchase large quantities of resources in the Urdu language, especially Bibles. Pray, too, for God’s help in the obtaining of printing rights and funding to publish song books in Urdu as well as desired book titles, especially those from the Derek Prince Ministry.
Tuesday (29th) - Pakistan
Please continue to pray for financial provision for the various projects we would love to achieve, such as repairs and improvements to our bookshop in Karachi. We would also like to be able to design, host and maintain a website for our bookshop, in order to reach the public at large. Additionally, it would be helpful to hire a security guard for our bookshop, due to ongoing security concerns.
Wednesday (30th) - India
By the grace of God, on May 14th this year, we opened a new bookstore on the compound of the YMCA in Chennai. Please pray that this new bookstore would be a great blessing to the many visitors and others in the coming days, weeks, months and years! Also, please pray for even more new avenues for the ministry in our vast and beautiful country.
Thursday (31st) - India
Please pray for the financial provision still needed to complete the ongoing building construction in Chennai, which will serve as a multi-purpose centre for ELS (CLC) India. We praise the Lord for all He has so far supplied and trust Him for what is yet to come in this faith adventure!
Friday (August 1st) - Myanmar
Please continue to pray for Jacob Mung, his team and all their families as they seek to bless their country through Christian publishing and bookshops. Pray for health, stamina and provision of the needs for their lives and for the ministry despite the very difficult conditions caused by the ongoing civil war. Pray that many will find Christ through CLC Myanmar.
The Weekend (2ns - 3rd) - Asia Regional Meeting
From September 5th–7th, we will be holding the Asia Regional Conference in Bangkok at the Christian Guest House. We are expecting the participation of all our National Directors and key leaders from across the region and elsewhere. Please pray for the final preparations for this important gathering, and especially for Sohee Yoo (Asia Regional Director) and Ken and Amanda Intajuk (CLC Thailand, our hosts).
