Monday (21st) - Burkina Faso
In the midst of continuing unrest and hostilities, we thank God for protecting Luc and his family. Luc shares: “At the beginning of each new month, I kneel before the Lord and declare the month a new month of miracles from Him. So far, He has been faithful, and I believe He will continue to be so, according to His goodness and mercy”. We praise God for protecting the bookshop and sustaining the CLC ministry.
Tuesday (22nd) - Burkina Faso
The situation with terrorism and jihadism is still worrying. This security crisis is impacting all aspects of life in the country, and we feel the impact, with low sales having become the norm due to the current lack of purchasing power. Nonetheless, we put our trust in the Lord. Please pray for an end to the terrorist activity and for lasting peace to prevail in the country.
Wednesday (23rd) - Benin
We thank God for our bookshop relocation, which took place approximately a year ago. We are now in a quieter street and a place that is appreciated by our customers, who are continuing to find us. Please pray that we may grow our customer base and our sales in the new location. Pray for inspiration for Adelaide who manages our social media accounts.
Thursday (24th) - Kenya
After 18 years of renting, CLC Kenya is finally moving to its own premises in Nairobi’s outskirts this August. We thank God that the land has been fully paid for and the ground breaking has been done. Stand with us in prayer as we trust God for the full provision to develop the project.

The Weekend (26th - 27th) - Ivory Coast
We thank God for His grace that rested upon the conference of French-speaking CLCs held in May in France. Prior to the conference, we (Martine and Marie) were able to participate in La Place, an annual event in Paris for evangelical believers. There we could reconnect with several Christian publishers, which will be a great help for CLC’s ministry in Ivory Coast.
