Monday (4th) - Chile
We are thankful for a recent opportunity to hold a training meeting for booksellers, colporteurs and CLC staff. The event took place with the valued support of one of our suppliers and the participation of Cuban Christian author, Wendy Bello. Please pray for lasting effectiveness from the occasion, which was in July.
Tuesday (5th) - Chile
Please pray for a new worker for our bookshop in Santiago, since one of our workers who has been with us for several years is leaving us in order to fulfil his pastoral calling.
Wednesday (6th) - Chile
Please pray for our special training seminar for Sunday School teachers, which we will take to Santiago and Concepción later this month. We are grateful for the support of one of our suppliers for this event, which we pray will bring much encouragement and yield lasting fruit.
Thursday (7th) - Uruguay
We are thankful for the good feedback we receive from those who follow us on social media and the many positive comments we receive. Please pray for our team members who engage in this part of the work, always seeking to generate interesting content for our followers. Pray that the Lord will strengthen us to carry out all our activities in ways that please Him.
Friday (8th) - Ecuador
Please continue to pray for the CLC ministry in the city of Cuenca, which is the capital of the province of Azuay. We need to find a new location for our bookshop, one that has more space at the front and more security. In the meantime, we are dealing with various challenges at our current place, including a recent partial roof collapse that came as a result of a water leak.
The Weekend (9th - 10th) - Colombia
On 10th August, CLC Colombia will participate in the “Right to Educate Our Children” by promoting our own publication, which is entitled In Defence of the Faith of our Children. Please pray that this book will be of help and encouragement to many Christian parents and others who are involved in communicating the Christian faith to the younger generation.
