Week 16 - Latin America

April 13th to April 19th

Monday (13th) - Peru 
Please pray for new, God-given strategies that will bring more customers to the bookstore. Our aim is to strengthen our connection with other ministries and to keep encouraging churches to promote both Bible reading and the use of Christian books that support spiritual growth.
 
Tuesday (14th) - Ecuador 
Today, we inaugurate the new CLC Quito property, from where a bookstore, distribution centre, offices and a reading room will operate. Here, we will promote many and diverse book-related activities. Our International Director and our Regional Director will join us for this special occasion.
 
Wednesday (15th) - Uruguay 
Pray as we work on changing our sales and accounting system to a more modern version following complications with Windows support. Pray that this change may be carried out with dedication and care.
 
Thursday (16th) - Uruguay 
Please pray for safety for those who take the CLC mobile unit to the interior of the country. This ministry is much valued by those who cannot reach our bookshops in the cities, giving them access to God’s Word and helpful Christian resources.
 
Friday (17th) - Panama 
Please pray for the continued construction of Plaza CLC Lassonde in Chiriquí, that the work may move forward without setbacks and become a true beacon of light in that province.
 
The Weekend (18th - 19th) - Panama 
 Please pray that the Lord will strengthen CLC’s role as a“bridge between His heart and the country,” opening doors for strong partnerships with local churches where resources are needed.
 
 
 

Week 17 - Africa

April 20th to April 26th

Monday (20th) - Mozambique 
Please pray for our economy Bible print run (10,000 copies) in India, that there will be no errors in printing and no delays. Pray that importation costs will be reasonable as these Bibles need to be affordably priced for our public.
 
Tuesday (21st) - Mozambique 
Please pray for our various banking issues but especially for the ongoing lack of foreign currency in Mozambique which complicates the process of paying our overseas suppliers.
 
Wednesday (22nd) - Mozambique 
Please pray for our dedicated workers (Francisco, Arnaldo, Sacramento and Sangara), each one with their own hopes and dreams to be fulfilled. Pray that they may know the Lord’s blessing and provision in every area of their lives.
 
Thursday (23rd) - Mozambique 
lease pray for the involvement of Carlos Cunha from CLC Portugal in the ministry of CLC Mozambique. Understandably, there are many ministry demands on his time in Portugal, so please pray for God’s provision and help so that Carlos will have more time for Mozambique.
 
Friday (24th) - Sierra Leone 
We depend on the local Bible Society for many of our Bibles. Pray that their ministry is successful so that we can order a good variety of Bibles from them for our three bookshops. Also, pray that opportunities for outreach to local churches may continue.
 
 
The Weekend (25th - 26th) - Sierra Leone 
Pray that CLC will have faithful and responsible tenants in all our rental properties and that each space will be consistently rented out as this income helps to support the ministry work of CLC.
