I would like to tell you a little about the campaign I attended in the capital city of Djakarta. Pastors were invited from all over Java and the outer islands. Over 1,500 pastors, some accompanied by their wives, came with hungry hearts expecting something from the Lord, and they were not disappointed. Those were days I will never forget. The pastors came from different denominations, but as we prayed together, there was such a spirit of oneness and unity that I have never before witnessed in this land. I had the privilege, and I count it a great privilege, to have a book table to meet the needs of these pastors. At times we had as many as eight people serving at the bookstall, and we were just about mobbed, such was their eagerness to obtain books. (Floodtide Jan/Feb 1968)
