The sound of worship filled the room as children’s ministers from across North and Central Sulawesi gathered to encourage one another, pray and seek God’s direction for the next generation.
For CLC Indonesia (YAKIN), this visit to Central Sulawesi was a precious opportunity to connect with ministry leaders from different denominations and share in a time of fellowship and encouragement. Together, we prayed for the children they serve and strengthened one another in the important work of pointing young hearts towards Christ.
During a special praise and worship event, we had the opportunity to pray personally for each child who attended. One by one, we lifted them to the Lord, giving thanks for their lives and the stories God is shaping.
This annual gathering has become a meaningful moment for children’s ministers, and we pray that it will continue to be a source of blessing and encouragement for both those who serve and the children being reached.
As part of the visit, CLC Indonesia was also able to share hundreds of printed materials with teachers and children through special meetings. These resources were given with the hope that they would help children grow in faith, understand God’s Word and mature in their relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
The response was a great encouragement. Through conversations with children’s ministry leaders, CLC Indonesia discovered a growing need for more Christian literature. Many expressed a desire for additional resources to support their ministries and help children encounter the truth of Scripture.
PLEASE PRAY that CLC Indonesia will be able to respond well to this opportunity—preparing, supplying and distributing materials so they are available when needed.
Every booklet placed into a child’s hands carries the potential to plant a seed of faith. We thank God for the doors He is opening in Central Sulawesi and pray that these resources will continue to point many young lives towards Him."
