An opportunity to serve in CLC Cyprus

An opportunity to serve in CLC Cyprus
Is the Lord calling you to serve in CLC? There is a vacancy for Christian service on the beautiful island of Cyprus and we need your help!

CLC IN CYPRUS
The work of CLC in Cyprus began in 1981, with one bookshop in Nicosia, the capital. The work of this bookshop has been developed and maintained over the years by devoted couple Sotos and Eva Photiades. In addition to the CLC ministry, Sotos preaches regularly in his local fellowship and in other churches also around the island. Eva manages the bookshop and for both of them, there is nothing more thrilling than having opportunities to share the Gospel message of God's love with those who come through the door.

Although the bookshop is not always busy, it remains important as a spiritual lighthouse on the island, not least because it is the only evangelical Christian bookshop available. Some customers are unable to come in person and so place their orders via the website www.clccyprus.com or through a simple phone call. Whichever way the customer comes, Eva and Sotos are aways ready  to help in any way they can. Their favourite thing is when someone wants to purchase a Bible, especially young people. This is always a special moment when a word of encouragement will be shared!

In addition to the "behind the counter" service, Sotos & Eva also take resources to church events and summer Christian camps, where they set up book tables. It's a unique opportunity to put the right book in the right hands at the right moment and thereby make a difference in someone's life...

WHERE YOU STEP IN...

In addition to managing the daily running of the bookshop, you would be responsible for organising outreach to churches and events with book tables, fulfilling online orders and developing CLC's publicity through various social media channels. Please also note that while many customers speak English, a working knowledge of the Greek language (or a willingness to learn) is also required. If you would be interested to know more about the opportunity to serve in Nicosia, please contact CLC Europe's Director,Mr. Hervé Lessous.
