A woman walking through the Westland Mall Shopping Center, where one of our stores is located, was struck by the books displayed in the window and was drawn into the shop. Once inside, she shared that she was going through significant pain as she grieved the death of one of her children due to a terminal illness. Our staff asked her if she would allow the Lord Jesus to enter her heart and comfort her amid the pain and she agreed. She left the store and took several books with her. Her life was forever changed on that day. To this day, she is a recurring customer.
